Clean, pure drinking water is needed throughout the world and is quickly becoming the most highly prized resource of all. However, ninety-seven percent of the earth's water is in the oceans. It is undrinkable and is unusable for most culinary and commercial purposes. Only three (3) percent of the world's water is fresh. Of this three percent, two-thirds is locked in glaciers and polar ice caps. Of the remaining one percent of the earth's water, about half is located beneath the earth's surface.

Rivers and lakes contain approximately 1/50th of one percent of the earth's water. A significant portion of this fraction has been contaminated by industrial civilization, and much of the remaining "freshwater" is severely polluted or biologically contaminated. Unfortunately, this pollution has begun to reach our underground water as well. Continually, on any given day, more than one-half of the earth's human population is ill, with the majority of these cases caused by waterborne contaminants.

The World Health Organization of the United Nations estimates that eighty percent of this illness is caused by contaminated drinking water. Many countries throughout the world, not just third world countries, have inadequate water treatment facilities, or a complete lack of treatment facilities. It is becoming clear that new technologies are needed in every segment of the water treatment industry: agriculture, horticulture, food processing, industrial waste treatment, public water supplies, and sewage treatment. These systems must be environmentally-friendly and rely on methods and processes that are not chemically based.

BASIC CONCEPT
Air2Water products are best described as atmospheric water generators. Air2Water water generating machines use technology (developed and patented by Worldwide Water, Inc.) that extracts pure drinking water from the air. The machine first pulls air through an electrostatic filter removing 93% of all air borne particles. As the machine collects the water it drops into a collection tray and immediately passes into Ultraviolet (UV) light, where the water stays in contact with UV rays for approximately 30 minutes. This kills 99.9% of all germs and bacteria in the water. The water is then pumped through a sediment screen into a 24 volt water pump, and back through two (2) solid carbon block 1 micron water filters, NSF 53 approved, which removes 99.9% of any volatile organic chemicals(VOC's) that may be in the water. It is also filtered through our proprietary Ultrafiltration (UF) with membrane pore size of 0.015 micron to remove virtually all bacteria and common viruses. The water then goes through a half calcite, half GAC mineral additive where it is then pumped into a reservoir tank. The water is then recycled every hour through the UV and back into the reservoir tank. The water is then chilled or heated and dispensed to the consumers.

The T16 dispenses water with suspended solids more than 65 times lower than the World Health Organization (WHO) standard. Turbidity is over 60 times lower than the WHO standard and residual chlorine is more than 100 times lower. Click here to see a complete water quality report.

PRODUCT CLAIMS
Air2Water water T16 generating machines produce between 8 and 38 Liters (2 to 10 gallons) of pure drinking water every 24 hours, depending on the model and relative humidity in the air. Our countertop M18 model produces between 3 and 20 Liters (3 to 5 US gallons) per day and our T16 upright unit produces between 16 and 38 Liters (4 to 10 US gallons) per day, depending on the humidity in the air. Electronic sensors placed within, ensures that the machine stops operation once the tank is full.

These generators also cleanse the air as they produce water by using an electrostatic air filter, which removes ninety percent (93%) of all airborne particles.

These results are dependent upon location, as electricity rates vary, along with humidity and temperature. These variables all factor into the cost of operation.

Our GURGLE F18 (point of use) POU system is the world’s first and only Utrafiltration (UF) membrane POU device. It uses activated carbon and UF filtration to provide the most pure water available from a POU device connected to a tap/faucet. One F18 cartridge can effectively filter and purity up to 1000 liters (265 US gallons) of tap water. Laboratory test results prove that water filtered by the F18 is the most pure of any tap water dispensed by POU other than reverse osmosis. The F18 removes virtually all known bacteria, common viruses and colloidal silica. With a membrane pore size of 0.015 micron, F18 can remove Bacteria such as cryptosporidium, and viruses such as Rotavirus and Poliovirus which are a group of infectious agents ranging in pore size from 0.025 to 0.075 micron in diameter. The F18 dispenses water with suspended solids nearly 15 times lower than the World Health Organization (WHO) standard. Turbidity is 55 times lower than the WHO standard and residual chlorine is 25 times lower.

Chemicals that are usually present in normal tap and filtered tap water, such as chlorine, and fluoride are not present in the water produced by Air2Water water generating machines. These chemicals are usually added to the water by city and county water departments. Research has shown that too much chlorine contributes to certain types of cancer. Studies on fluoride in drinking water are inconclusive as to the amount of good or harm caused.
